| In honor of Dr. Norma Allewell, Henry N. Wixon '76, '80, present and former Board of Visitors members and faculty members of the College of Chemical and Life Sciences, now known as the College of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Scienes, established the Norma M. Allewell Prize in Entrepreneurship in November 2010, to award the winner of a faculty commercialization competition in the biosciences. Dr. Alewell served as Dean of the College of Chemical and Life Sciences from September 2000 until June 2010. |
