Impact of Giving

In general, my annual gift to Maryland is to contribute back for the great and inexpensive education I received. The amount I've given since I've graduated (at least 15,000 over 15 years) is not even close to the value of the education I received. Since 2007, my gift represents a living memorial for my mother who passed away then from cancer. While not necessarily direct, maybe my gift will help a student one day find a great discovery that could change lives.

Linda M. Jensen Endowed Scholarship for Intercollegiate Athletics

Linda M. Jensen established the Linda M. Jensen Endowed Scholarship for Intercollegiate Athletics in September 2023. This fund provides merit-based scholarships for undergraduate student-athletes in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
