The David Casnoff Legacy Leaders Current-Use Prize in Public Health was established in May 2024. This fund recognizes enrollees of the Legacy Leadership Institute on Public Policy in the Department of Health Policy and Management in the School of Public Health.
Established in 2002, the Legacy Leadership Institute on Public Policy, housed in the School of Public Health at the University of Maryland, trains state of Maryland residents ages 50+ who wish to learn about health policy-making and participate in local/state government advocacy.
