1 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED:
What leadership roles or volunteer experiences have been important to you during your time at Maryland?
I have been a GA in the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship this year. We help aspiring entrepreneurs, both students and alumni, to pursue their ideas by providing guidance and resources.
Next year I will be the President of the Entrepreneurship Club for MBA students, of which I was on the Board this year.
Both of these roles have been central to furthering my knowledge of the entrepreneurial process, which was a driving force in my decision to return to school for a Business Degree.
What has your scholarship meant to you and how has it enabled you to pursue new and exciting opportunities?
My scholarship has been critical for my aspirations to start my own business. As someone who will be starting a family soon, it would be very difficult to pursue any sort of risky entrepreneurial ideas with mounds of student loans to pay off.
What is your major, minor, class and graduation year?
I will graduate in May of 2017 with an MBA. I am focusing my studies on General Management and Entrepreneurship.
