1 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED:
What has your scholarship meant to you and how has it enabled you to pursue new and exciting opportunities?
My scholarship was an incredible help in allowing me to continue my education. I am an out of state student from New Jersey, meaning the cost of college was over $40,000 per year. When this is combined with my sister's education, who just enrolled at the University of Rhode Island, my family has a college expense of over $80,000 per year. This scholarship significantly relieved some of the financial burden put on my family and was one less thing I needed to worry about as a student. I am so grateful for this amazing gift and opportunity and I guarantee it did not go to waste.
How will you make a positive difference in the world?
I will never stop working my hardest to make a difference wherever I end up. I want to work for a socially conscious company that cares about the community and actively gives back. I also want to maintain a connection with future University of Maryland business students to help them get all the opportunities I was lucky enough to have.
What is your major, minor, class and graduation year?
I graduated a semester early with a degree in Finance and Supply Chain Management in December 2015
What is your Hometown?
I am from Marlboro, NJ, home of the Mustangs

A fun fact about me is that I am a die hard Mets fan and every year I go out of town to follow the team. I have been to 23 MLB stadiums and am planning my 24th this summer.
