Scholarship History

Family, friends and colleagues of Linda C. Lee '90, established the Linda C. Lee Memorial Endowed Scholarship to support students who are science and technology majors. Linda C. Lee tragically died at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

Donor Statement

Linda C. Lee was an alumna of the University of Maryland, College Park. She graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Ms. Lee, a senior associate in the administration area at Jennison Associates in New York, was 34 when she perished in the September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001. She was a beacon of light to all who knew her and she will be remembered in perpetuity through this scholarship award. This fund was created in 2001 with gifts from Jennison Associates and the family and friends of Linda C. Lee.
