Green Scholarship in Environmental Science and Restoration

Scholarship History

The Green Fund established the Green Scholarship in Environmental Science and Policy in January 2007, amended in 2016 to be named the Green Scholarship in Environmental Science and Restoration, to support undergraduate students researching earth surface processes in the environmental science and policy program. This fund was again amended in 2017 to provide scholarships to students majoring in the Environmental Geosciences and Restoration concentration of the Environmental Science and Policy Program. Recipients must have completed or be enrolled in nine credit hours of 300-400 level geology courses counting toward the major, of which at least six credits must be from the Surficial Geology and/or Deep-Earth Geology areas of depth and must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. and have completed 60 credits.
