Irv and Micki Goldstein Scholarship

Scholarship History

Irwin and Arlene Goldstein established the Irv and Micki Goldstein Scholarship in December 2002 to support seniors in excellent academic standing with financial need in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. Irwin Goldstein was dean of the college from 1991 to 2002.

Donor Statement

Irv and Micki Goldstein's concern for students and their support for higher education motivated them to create this scholarship. This scholarship was established with contributions made by the Goldsteins as well as their colleagues and friends. Dr. Goldstein was dean of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences for twelve years.

As Dean, he ... led his college with a vitality and breadth of vision that lifted the aspirations of all around him. He is the personification of great leadership. I was personally honored to present him with the 2001 President's Medal and have been fortunate to have his counsel and helping hand whenever needed.
