CohnReznick is establishing this new scholarship fund to honor the legacy of their co-founder, David Reznick.
David Reznick (1937-2014) was co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Reznick Group, P.C. before the firm combined with J.H. Cohn in 2012 to form CohnReznick LLP. Since co-founding his firm in 1977, David helped to lead its growth from one office in Washington, D.C. to a top 20 CPA firm with offices nationwide. The success of CohnReznick is due, in large part, to the formidable presence David established in the affordable housing industry more than 40 years ago. An industry legend and visionary, he was known for his tireless work to create and protect affordable housing. In addition to his business achievements, David was an accomplished speaker, community champion and philanthropist.
A lifelong Maryland resident, David graduated from the University of Maryland in 1959 with a degree in accounting. David was a passionate supporter of the University of Maryland and the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
