Scholarship History

The Warren Citrin Graduate Fellowship in Engineering is for entrepreneurial engineering students at the University of Maryland who have a desire to pursue research in the broad area of global sustainability. The fellowships are supported by a generous gift from Mr. Warren Citrin, co-founder of Solipsys Corporation and winner of Ernst and Young's 2003 Maryland Entrepreneur of the Year award. Citrin Fellows are automatically admitted into the Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute's VentureAccelerator Program to advance their entrepreneurial endeavors while pursuing their graduate degrees.
