Gene West, Jr., and his brother David West built on their parents' gift by adding $55,000 to the Gene and Olga West Family Scholarship Fund, bringing the total endowed scholarship to $100,000.

science alumna, had an invaluable cross-disciplinary experience at Maryland.
James A. Ruckert '53 pledged a bequest of $500,000 to establish the James
A. Ruckert Special Collections Endowment in the University
