IMPACT OF GIVING

My biggest inspiration was my feeling through the years of wanting to give
back 5, 10 and 50 times what
the university did for me.

School of Public Health

There is no better place to establish a School of Public Health to address 21st century challenges than right here.  We are grounded in the philosophy that we must close the gap between science and application in an effort to eliminate health disparities, and we have the resources and the strengths of the state behind us. For students, this means an even deeper understanding of today's public health issues and better preparation for the public health careers of tomorrow.

School of Public Health Student Emergency Scholarship Fund

This emergency fund was established to help keep current students when they are confronted with a financial emergency that could prevent them from remaining in school.  Your support for the School of Public Health’s Student Emergency Scholarship Fund will help the school respond to  immediate financial situations that directly impact the student's ability to attend and function in classes.  Last year, in response to current economic conditions, this special emergency fund was established and has already been able to provide immediate assistance to help keep students in school.
