1 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED:
What leadership roles or volunteer experiences have been important to you during your time at Maryland?
The leadership roles that have been important to me during my time in Maryland have been my role as a Team Leader for the America Reads*America Counts Program and my role as a tutor for the Pre-College Programs. America Reads aims to provide 1st and 2nd graders with extra tutoring to improve reading and writing skills and the Pre-College Programs provides academic and career counseling to high school students to succeed in their road to college. These experiences are what helped me develop my teaching skills better.
What has your scholarship meant to you and how has it enabled you to pursue new and exciting opportunities?
