Since I was a kid, the University of Maryland was always viewed as a prestigious insitution. After high school I decided to work for a non profit. While abroad I decided to pursue a degree and I wasn't sure what. I liked the broad range of classes and majors the University of Marjor had to offer.
Not only is the University of Maryland my home school, but also a school that is esteemed highly among family members and peers. I have many friends who have graduated from here and speak highly about the school.

My favorite class was my summer abroad in 2016. As a diversity credit I decided to go abroad with a program called Social Entrepreneurship Corp. Through this class, I experienced grassroots consultation and entrepreneurship lessons on the field. It was such a meaningful experiences I decided to change my major from Special Education to Education in International Development.
