What leadership roles or volunteer experiences have been important to you during your time at Maryland?
During my time at Maryland, I enjoyed my leadership role as a Guided Study Session Leader for the Learning Assistance Services office. I planned and led two sessions a week in order to help students struggling in Anatomy II.
How will you make a positive difference in the world?
I am currently in the process of applying to Physician Assistant school! I want to work hands-on with patients in order to help people.
What is your major, minor, class and graduation year?
Kinesiology. I graduated in December 2015.
What is your Hometown?
I am from the Kent Island, MD. It is on the Eastern Shore of MD!
Tell us about your favorite class, extracurricular activity, academic opportunity, community involvement or another unique experience.
My favorite class I took was called The Spirituality of the Human Race. It was really eye-opening to study all of the world's religions juxtaposed next to one another.
