What is your favorite campus setting and why?
The steps of McKeldin, where Erasable, Inc performs every Friday at 1pm
Why is the University of Maryland special to you?
The University's diversity of people and opportunities make it exciting, while the atmosphere still allows for connections and strong friendships like one would find in a smaller school.
What has your scholarship meant to you or enabled you to do?
I am able to live on campus and therefore devote more time to my studies and my pursuit of theatre.
What special learning opportunities have you experienced at the university?
I have learned about social and political issues which have peaked my interest in activism.
Why did you choose to attend the University of Maryland?
The University's size and variety of programs attracted me.
What is your favorite quote and why?
Love is the right decision. It was said by a person very special to me, and means that one cannot go wrong if one makes the choice most founded in love and compassion.
Who do you admire and find is a source of inspiration to you?
My acting instructor, Leigh Smiley, shows me in her own way and in myself how theatre is a vital part of our society.
What are your career plans/aspirations?
I will pursue improvisational theatre and political theatre in Chicago.
How will you make a positive difference in the world?
I am going to continue to speak for those who are to afraid to be heard.
