This scholarship represents all of the work that I have put into my undergraduate education thus far. It means so much to me to be able to assist my parents in paying for my education through scholarships such as these.
Why did you choose to attend the University of Maryland, what makes this place special to you and what is your favorite part of being a Terp?
I chose to attend the University of Maryland for a variety of reasons including the fantastic business program, being able to play ice hockey, being close to home and my family, Maryland basketball and the promising professional network and local job opportunities.
How will you make a positive difference in the world?
I cannot sit here and pretend that I know what will happen in my life or that I have a plan to change the world. What I can say, is that I promise to face everyday with the willingness to do what I am called to do in the hope of making a positive impact on those I encounter.
