What has your scholarship meant to you and how has it enabled you to pursue new and exciting opportunities?
I am very honored to have received my scholarship! Words cannot adequately express my thanks and how much it has contributed to my educational experience. Receiving my scholarship has enabled me to continue pursuing my master's degree in the field of Secondary Special Education. Without the financial assistance I was able to obtain from the Young Alumni Scholarship, I would have needed to take out a third loan in order to pay for my last year, as I will be graduating in May 2012.
