What has your scholarship meant to you and how has it enabled you to pursue new and exciting opportunities?
The scholarship has enabled me to work less and allocate my time better to activities such as helping others, through community service efforts that I am involved in such as Students in Free Enterprise.
Why did you choose to attend the University of Maryland, what makes this place special to you and what is your favorite part of being a Terp?
Going to high school in Maryland, I always wanted to come to the University of Maryland both for its academics as well as social aspects.
How will you make a positive difference in the world?
I want to become an entrepreneur and want to participate in a project or a company that will have an impact on society. I am not sure what it will be yet, but every day, I take a step closer to my goal.
