What is your favorite campus setting and why?

My favorite campus setting is the Performing Arts Center.

What has your scholarship meant to you or enabled you to do?

My scholarship has enabled me to buy text books, materials for classes, plays, and well as pay part of my tuition. It has been a great help.

What special learning opportunities have you experienced at the university?

I have had the chance to perform in two productions with Woolly Mammouth theatre and one production with African Continum Theatre as part of partnerships with the University. This has done much in developing me as an actor.

Why did you choose to attend the University of Maryland?

I chose to attend because it was an afforable and great education that I knew was instore for me.

What are your career plans/aspirations?

I plan to audition in the area and eventually go to graduate schoool for performance.

How will you make a positive difference in the world?

I plan to work with children this summer (as I have in the past two summers) teaching them communication and performance skills through acting.
