What has your scholarship meant to you and how has it enabled you to pursue new and exciting opportunities?
First, it builds up confidence in me. Second, it emphasizes to me the importance of networking and the community life. Third, it is a strong suggestion of what how I should be contributing to others later in life. My scholarship enabled me to be less dependent on other sources of income, giving me more time to study to excel in my classes.
Why did you choose to attend the University of Maryland, what makes this place special to you and what is your favorite part of being a Terp?
Maryland is the best in the state, and their engineering is among the best in the nation. In addition, it is not that expensive, compared to many other schools of the same reputation and size. Many options to join NASA or other government related agency.
How will you make a positive difference in the world?
I want to be an inspiration for all people in the world who are not performing to the best of their desires. I want to influence lives through academia, through politics, through faith.
