What leadership roles or volunteer experiences have been important to you during your time at Maryland?
I am the team captain of University of Maryland's competitive club boxing team. It has been very rewarding to teach others about the sport I love and am knowledgable about.
What has your scholarship meant to you and how has it enabled you to pursue new and exciting opportunities?
I am very honored and grateful to have recieved this scholarship. This scholarship enables me to attend field camp in the Black Hills with the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
Why did you choose to attend the University of Maryland, what makes this place special to you and what is your favorite part of being a Terp?
The University of Maryland is special to me because I grew up so close to the campus and my brothers and father graduated from here. My favorite part of being a Terp is being connected to so many people because the University of Maryland is such a large, old school.
What is your major, minor, class and graduation year?
I am geology major graduating in Fall 2017.
What is your Hometown?
I lived in Hyattsville, less than three miles from the University of Maryland, until I was eight years old. I have lived in Ellicott City, Maryland since then.
