PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP partners and staff, along with friends and family of Arthur William “Bill” Mann ’63, established the A. William Mann Memorial Scholarship in June 2000 to support students in the accounting program.
Arthur William "Bill" Mann graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1963. Upon graduation, Bill Mann joined Coopers & Lybrand, where he became a partner in 1976. He continued to work for the Washington office of Coopers & Lybrand until his death in April of 1998. In addition to his work with Coopers & Lybrand, he was a former chairman of the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, had been a board member and treasurer of the National Symphony Orchestra and had served on the board of the Cultural Alliance.
