The UMCP Alumni Association of the Institute of Criminal Justice and Criminology, following lead donor and association president Martin Shugam, established the Barton L. Ingraham Fund in 1992 to provide a scholarship at the Institute of Criminal Justice and Criminology for a professional in criminal justice and criminology who has decided to return to college to pursue and complete an undergraduate or graduate degree in that field. Dr. Barton Ingraham was a professor in the Institute of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
