Kimmy Duong and her foundation established the Long Nguyen and Kimmy Duong Endowed Scholarship in Engineering in January 2017 to provide merit-based scholarships for students in the A. James Clark School of Engineering, with preference for electrical and computer engineering. These scholars must be graduates from a high school in Maryland and entering freshman or transfers from a community college enrolled full time at the College Park campus. They also must have work experience and a 3.0 minimum GPA.
