David P. Fogle Fund in Historic Preservation

Scholarship History

The School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation established the David P. Fogle Travel Scholarship in August 2000, the fund was amended and renamed in July 2014 to the David P. Fogle Fund in Historic Preservation, to provide support for the Historic Preservation Program in the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at the University and the Maryland Study Center at Kiplin Hall. This fund was established to honor David P. Fogle, one of the founders of the graduate program in historic preservation and director of its program from 1990 through 2000.
