Steve Dubin ‘74 and Miriam Dubin '74 established the Dubin Family Endowed Scholarship in August 2011, and later amended in April 2017, to support rising juniors or seniors in the Incentive Awards Program, with a preference for students who are orphans, foster children or wards of the state, particularly students who are in the A. James Clark School of Engineering, followed by a IAP students who are in a STEM field major. If no IAP students initially qualify, the second preference will go to juniors or seniors in the A. James Clark School of Engineering, then students who are in a STEM field major.
Steve '74 and Miriam '74 Dubin are deeply interested in helphing students who have been in the foster care system or who have suffered some other lack of parental support. It is for this reason that they have established the Dubin Family Endowed Scholarship to support undergraduate engineering students enrolled in the Incentive Awards Program at the University who have the talent and tenacity to overcome adversity and lead productive lives.
