Captain William P. Cole III Peace Fellowship

Scholarship History

Established April 29, 1982, by bequest from Edith M. Cole in memory of her late son, Capt. William P. Cole III, who was killed during World War II. The income is to be used for research into the preventive measures of war and the development and preservation of peace among all nations. These fellowships are to be administered by the School of Public Affairs at UMCP.
